Daily Blocks is offered by Jason Mancuso. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable; nothing here is meant to surprise you.
You need an account to sync your data. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Daily Blocks. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.
The routines, tasks, goals, notes and history you create belong to you. We claim no ownership over them. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, back up, sync, and display that content to you across your devices as part of running the service. You can export it or delete it at any time from Settings → Account.
Do not use Daily Blocks to break the law, to store unlawful content, to attempt to access another person's account or data, to probe or overload the backend, or to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as permitted by Apple's standard licence terms. We may suspend accounts that do these things.
Daily Blocks is currently free, with no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. If that ever changes, the features you already have will not be taken away without clear notice in advance.
The Health integration is optional and off by default. Daily Blocks is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or offer medical advice, and nothing it shows should be relied on for medical decisions. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.
We work hard to keep Daily Blocks reliable and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that data will never be lost. The app is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows. Keep your own export if a routine's history matters to you.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Daily Blocks. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim, which, for a free app, is zero. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
You can stop using Daily Blocks whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or discontinue the service, with reasonable notice where practical.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date above will change. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the update.
Daily Blocks is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where these terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict, Apple's EULA governs. Apple is not responsible for the app or for any claims relating to it, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
